Excited

Well it is the night before the LONG day of waiting in line. I am wearing a custom designed shirt that a friend is making me, and I am bringing a hand made scarf (thanks Grandma) in case it gets chilly when it gets dark. I painted my nails in Gryffindor colors using China Glaze, Ruby Pumps and Orly's Luxe. This was my first time using Luxe and it is a beautiful opaque gold shimmer, I've never seen anything like it, the photo does not do it justice.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE these 2 colors together, I am excited that I have an excuse to wear them right now because they are not summer colors. This manicure would be amazing for Christmas. Well I am going to head to bed. Nighty night.

Griffindor Eyes.

So Friday this week is the premiere of the new, and last Harry Potter movie. I will admit, my husband and I are HUGE Harry Potter nerds so of course, as any good HP nerd would, we have tickets for the midnight show which means I will be sitting in a line all day long to insure we get a good seat andjust in case you were wondering the weather forecast for that day is 90 degrees and sunny. It's summer and I usually don't wear very much makeup however this is a special night so I am doing my eyes up in the Griffindor colors, Gold and Scarlet. I have the coastal Scents 88 shimmer pallette so I already have those colors in shadow however  I had to venture to Ulta in search of some kind of base for my shadows since it will be a LONG day. I picked up 2 NYX jumbo eye pencils in the colors, Pure Gold and Rust. In my mind I have an idea of how I want this look to come out and I want to do some glitter (I haven't used glitter on my eyes since high school) so I also picked up LAsplash glitter mineral eye shadow in the color Renaissance it's a really pretty almost pale gold color. I will post pictures of the finished look on Thursday. Have a good night!
